LoomSci articles are human-edited with AI assistance. Our workflow ensures meaningful human creative control at every stage:
- Selection: Human editors choose which research to cover based on editorial criteria
- Drafting: AI assists in initial drafting; editors review, revise, and approve
- Editing: Our editorial platform includes direct text editing capabilities, and editors may modify any part of an article
- Approval: Every article requires human approval before publication
- Imagery: AI-generated heading images are reviewed by editors before publication
We maintain editorial logs and version records that document the human editorial process. Our approach aligns with platforms like Substack, which permits AI-assisted creation by individuals.
